Milktart has always been one of my favourite desserts. Lucky for me that my mom is the Milktart Queen (which she feels a somewhat bittersweet title, having progressed from her title as “Tequila Queen” in her heyday).
I needed something sweet after dinner the other night (funny that…) so I whipped up a tart in a glass sans the guilt:
- 250ml soy milk
- 1 egg
- 2 Scoops Herbalife Formula 1
- 1 Tbsp honey (you can add more to taste)
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
- Cinnamon to sprinkle on top
Heat the milk, Herbalife Formula 1 and honey on the stovetop, using a whisk to stir continuously. Ever so sloooowly…. add the beaten egg and vanilla essence, stirring the whole time to avoid making milkly scrambled egg. Bring to the boil, then turn the heat to medium-low and stir until thickened, before you let the mixture set in the fridge.
BONUS: You will have already worked off the bloody thing before you get to eat it. Arm workout alert!
