Growing Cauliflower

Cauliflowers need rich soil and an open position; these ‘flowers fare better when far from the madding crowd. Caulis also like to keep it cool, and are best planted in early autumn. You can start harvesting after about 8 weeks.

For my next crop, I’d like to go disco and get some purple varieties such as Purple Cape; orange varieties such as Orange Bouquet and Cheddar; or Green Ball and Alverda, two green varieties.

How frikken’ fun!!!
